Where did this number come from ? I can't believe it's random. I don't really know but my best guess is that the White King is hinting to Alice's way. Alice have started at square d2 that according to traditional international chess notation is "42". The "07" could be the number of squares Alice is passing to become a Queen or might refer to the fact that in the chess puzzle Alice becomes Queen in hew 7^th move (White's moves 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 8).
